  1. I got this compilation purely for the Frail track. Not only were they locals, but I loved their sound. I can see how it would be an acquired taste though.

That said, since this post is about Eternal, I will say that the only other song that impressed me on the 7" when I got it was Eternal - they were amazing. Heavy as shit and pretty technical for the time period.

I was always wondering if they had released anything else as well. So I'm interested to see if anyone has any extra info.

  2. I got mp3's of the demo tonight actually, so I will put them up within the next couple of days, or so. Hope to get some more insight on the band first.

Were you ever into Disbelief or Longshot? Both released by Overdose Records. Probably more towards 98 though..

  4. Both bands names only slightly ring a bell. Can't say I was into them, let alone maybe even heard them. Overdose Records, for that matter, hasn't been in my memory the past 15 years either. Sorry.

  5. Off-topic, but I saw you posted the Heavyweight (Chubb Fresh's band) demo in like 2005, but the links are dead.

Would you be able to re-post it? Or at least upload it somewhere and give me a link to download it? I'd appreciate it - if you don't want to do a re-post, you can put it in the comments to a post on my blog - severedforever.blogspot.com.

Thanks! And I'm still looking forward to that Eternal demo.

They had at least three demos. I think this is from the second or maybe the third. I wonder what happened to the guitarist.

The more I think about it there were four demos, and this is definitely from the second when they still had two guitarists. This song is good but the first one on the demos kills it, I can't wait to hear the demo you uploaded.
