JOURNEYMAN (NJ), "Demo 1991"

Having first been introduced to JOURNEYMAN seeing them play at a show with Vision, Ressurection, and Seperate Peace in Syracuse (thanks to Dan Cav for helping jog my memory), and after witnessing one of the most incredible live performances I had ever seen, this demo has been on heavy rotation ever since and has remained a staple over the years.

Incredible musicianship, riffs, hooks and vocal delivery that take you back to a time when a Hardcore band could be melodic without being sappy, heavy without being tacky, and strived to build a unique sound and personality of their own.

This was their only release in that vein as their next and final release went with a more commercial sound of the time along the lines of Alice In Chains, which was also good if you're into that, just nowhere near the same energy as these songs.
